The Defence Industry Innovation Centre wants to help your business transform and grow by giving you advice and access to new strategies, technologies and skills.
Services we offer eligible clients include:
Business Review
Business Reviews are conducted by one of our highly skilled Business Advisers at no charge. It will help you better understand your business strengths and weaknesses and provide you with strategies to achieve your goals.
Tailored Advisory Service
Tailored Advisory Services grants will help you follow through on the recommendations of the Business Review so you can carry out your business transformation program or project.
If your business is awarded a Tailored Advisory Service grant we will reimburse you half the cost, up to a maximum of $20,000 (excluding GST), to engage a consultant/s to make those changes.
Business Support
We can support your Defence business by providing advice and guidance on access to defence opportunities, both within Australia and overseas, through one-on-one guidance by our defence Business Advisers.
Technology and Expertise
We link defence industries with each other and offer advice on sources of technology you may need for your business.
Industry Innovation
We can help grow and improve your business within the defence sector and prepare for global defence business.
Training and Education
We can provide you with support to access defence industry networks, clusters, seminars and workshops that focus on the defence sector.
Researchers in Business
Researchers in Business grants allow you to have a researcher from a university or public research agency within your business to help you develop and implement new commercial ideas.
If your business is given a Researchers in Business grant we will provide funding for up to 50 per cent of salary costs, to a maximum of $50,000, for each placement for between 2 and 12 months.
Workshops, Industry Intelligence & Networking (WIIN)
The Workshops, Industry Intelligence & Networking program gives you access to events and networking opportunities relevant to your sector.
Technology and Knowledge Connect (TKC)
Our Technology and Knowledge Connect service can link your business to technology experts.
Technology Partnerships Equipment Register
The Technology Partnerships Equipment Register can give you access to cutting edge equipment that exists within other businesses.
