More manufacturing firms are now eligible for Enterprise Connect services following release of A Plan for Australian Jobs, the Australian Government’s Industry and Innovation Statement. The eligibility threshold has been reduced from $2 million annual revenue or expenditure to $1.5 million, allowing 20 per cent more manufacturing SMEs to be eligible for assistance.
Eligible small and medium manufacturing businesses have access to an extensive range of services tailored to help them become more innovative, productive, competitive and sustainable. Through a national network of Enterprise Connect centres, highly skilled Business Advisers deliver practical advice and support to manufacturers and businesses that contribute to the transformation of manufactured products.
Our services begin with a comprehensive, confidential Business Review, delivered at no charge. Conducted by our skilled Business Advisers, the Business Review is carried out on site and involves a top-to-bottom analysis of your business.
Through the Business Review, Enterprise Connect assists businesses in the manufacturing sector to:
- review business strategy and operations
- identify strengths and opportunities, including benchmarking against best practice
- assess potential areas for growth and improvement
- access world-class business tools, processes and technology.
Tailored Advisory Service funding is available to help you implement recommendations flowing from the Business Review and our Business Advisers can provide connections to researchers, industry associations, training and other sources of funding and advice.
