Background:
Rod has 10 years experience working one-on-one with business owners in remote parts of Northern Australia. As a business adviser initially in the Northern Territory and more recently in Far North Queensland, Rod has worked extensively with small and medium businesses providing advice in the areas of finance, HR, IT, marketing, business planning, systems analysis and sustainability practices. Rod is accustomed to working in regional and remote areas, and has spent most of this time working alongside the business owners within the businesses themselves.
Prior to his time working in the business advisor field, Rod worked for 10 years in the IT industry in Darwin, servicing Government and other major accounts. This followed a career within the NT Government working in a number of different agencies in a variety of administrative and management roles.
With a wealth of experience working in and with small and medium enterprises in remote Australia, Rod is aware of the particular challenges required in owning and growing your business in this environment, and can work with you to identify various strategies to meet these challenges.

Master of Professional Accounting – Master of Business Administration (JCU)
Bachelor of Public Administration (CDU).
