Peter's areas of expertise include strategic planning and implementation; business planning and business development; innovation and entrepreneurship. Since joining Enterprise Connect Peter has undertaken more than 50 Business Reviews with clients from a broad range of industry sectors: from major Industrial Design and IT Service firms to Metal Fabrication and Manufacturers of all types.
Prior to working for EC Peter operated his own consulting business providing business development, industry analysis and strategic advice services to a variety of private and public sector clients. Amongst these projects was the production of the World Wide Work report for the Federal Government on export opportunities for Australian service companies.
The business was also involved in the development and implementation of regional economic development plans for both rural and urban regions. A feature of much of this work revolved around exploiting information and communication technologies into regional economies to expand opportunities and to break from dependence on commodities.
Prior to undertaking these consulting projects he operated his own publishing and a sports promotion business.
Peter has a strong interest in social enterprise and micro finance as approaches to supporting economic development in disadvantaged communities and countries.
