Background:
Noel has developed his experience by “Hands On” General management and business development of enterprises such as: Clay Brick Manufacturing and Quarry site management including developing an export business to Japan with pavers. Commissioned and commercialised a Sandstone quarry by sourcing and installing extraction and production equipment while developing a domestic business and an export business to China. Commissioned and commercialised a Polystyrene manufacturing facility to supply the bridge beam, insulated roofing, cold room, building, civil works and movie set industries.
Noel has been responsible for all the elements required to make a business successful and further to the above has experience and skills in export marketing to Europe, Asia and the Pacific islands as well as extensive travel to these markets. Experience in the domestic market has been with irrigation and pump manufacturing, power tool and small appliance sales and marketing, Aluminium window and door manufacture and marketing and consultancy work on product development and sales planning with a major regional energy supplier.
Having seen many opportunities for business development and business improvement, Noel looks forward to assisting Australian manufacturers to remain ahead of the competition.
Qualifications:
Social and Industrial Administration (Major in Marketing). CERT IV in training and assessment and a diploma in Company Directorship from the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Further studies in Employee Relations, Occupation Health and Safety, International Business and Train the Trainer. Recently completed a course on Lean Manufacturing and 5S methodology. Current and ongoing development includes: “Managing Innovation” through the Australian Institute of Management.
