Background:
Mike is a seasoned operations executive and management consultant with 27 years of hands-on experience across a range of industries and has held senior operational management roles for global corporates such as Smiths Industries, Lucas, Plessey, Siemens before channelling his capabilities towards small to medium enterprises and start-ups such as Keycorp and Cyberlynx Procurement Services.
Mike has also served for over 5 years in the leadership team of Accenture’s Strategic Services division engaged in their Supply Chain Line of Business, before specialising in operational and organisational alignment strategies, particularly to develop and implement change to improve profitability and performance.
Mike is a results oriented performer with strong problem solving and analytical attributes, specialising in business analysis and value realisation strategies; the development of new business models; business process engineering; organisation alignment and supply chain practices.
Mike also brings solid international experience extending across cultures from England, Australia, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Germany and Italy working with both the private and public sectors from small business to large enterprise.
In his role as a Business Adviser, Mike looks forward to opportunities to assist Tasmanian SME's make significant bottom line improvements, optimise core capabilities and raise competitive performance.
Qualifications:
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Production Technology and Production Management from Brunel University in the UK, and an Ordinary National Certificate of Engineering from Middlesex University.
