Background:
Michael has significant experience in delivering services to businesses including strategic planning, project and program management, marketing and communications, business development, human resources, industrial relations, organisation development, change management, quality assurance and supply chain development.
With extensive experience in project management, Michael has overseen the implementation of major strategies to improve organisational efficiency, effectiveness and address issues affecting performance.
Michael has been involved in the agriculture, horticulture, food, wine and tourism industries as well as at senior levels of Government. Former employers include: Industry and Farm organisations, Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, Department of Environment and Water Resources, Queensland Health and the Queensland Rural Adjustment Authority.
Michael has also owned and operated family businesses involved in agriculture and tourism in far north Queensland and South Australia.
Qualifications:
Michael’s formal qualifications include a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Personnel & Industrial Relations.
