Background:
Martin is a UK qualified business improvement specialist with diverse experience based on over 20 years industry management & consultancy with a constant focus on world class business transformation, improvement & change delivered across a variety of sectors & industries. These have included mining, aerospace, composite engineering, manufacturing, operations, service, automotive & government. Martin joined Enterprise Connect from the mining sector via Dyno Nobel Asia Pacific where he was employed as group Business Improvement Manager & ultimately managed Dyno Nobels flagship Pilbara Operation as Pilbara Operations Manager based in Newman & working in close partnership with BHPB Iron Ore.
Before moving to Australia at the start of 2006, Martin lived in the UK & was a Lean Business Improvement Consultant with several consulting organisations including Pera Neville Clarke & Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) where he delivered a number of improvement projects in both blue-chip organisations & SME’s in the UK & Asia Pacific region. He also worked as a Business Advisor for the Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) to help support SME’s. A career highlight was designing & leading an Asia Pacific based Lean Masters executive development program for Asia Pacific company executives.
Prior to his management consultancy career Martin worked for several major organisations in direct senior management positions including BP Chemicals Aerospace Composites & Matra Marconi Space in roles combining technical, operational & department management with constant focus on business improvement.
