Background:
Mal is an experienced manager with proven business development, commercialisation, P&L accountability and operational experience in manufacturing and service industries. The main industry sectors were cable manufacturing and telecommunications.
Mal has excellent technical skills having gaining post graduate technical qualifications and managed an international group developing new products and processes. This helped development of high analytical skills with an ability to facilitate change, in short project timeframes
Mal also managed a team in excess of 200 personnel in a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
More recently Mal has worked autonomously, in his a consultancy role establishing a broad network of industry and government contacts, and delivering positive results for clients.
Mal has significant experience as a key player in management teams, and is comfortable with relationships at all levels internal and external to the organisation.
