Background:
With over 30 years experience in manufacturing, John has formal qualifications in metallurgy and business and financial management, together with a trade background in fitting and machining.
After gaining ten years experience in supplier quality assurance, while working for General Motors Holden, John became quality assurance manager for the automotive parts manufacturer Repco.
In 1988, he moved into senior management, managing the Bathurst operation of Clyde Engineering until 1993.
Following a short time as quality and technical manager in a large heavy engineering firm, John ventured into his own business in the building and construction industry on the New South Wales Central Coast, successfully managing a building materials and hardware distribution centre along with a contract commercial lining business until 2007.
John is looking forward to using his skills to assist Australian SMEs in improving their productivity and performance.
