Background:
James has extensive experience in both logistical and people management having worked in several industries and many location at an operational and a strategic level. Among others, he has been a functional level operational manager in the transport and logistic industry, a Senior Manager of Sales, Marketing and Training in the Finance and Insurance industry, and a CEO in the Not-for-Profit Vocational Education sector.
He was the Disaster Response Manger in the NT for the Australian Red Cross in Darwin during the Asian Tsunami response and operated in a strategic and an operational role during a major Counter Terrorism planning exercise in conjunction with the Australian Defence and the NT Police.
For the last three years James has managed a training and consultancy business, focusing on the skills development of middle and junior managers and on strategic and operational planning.

Qualifications:
James has a Masters degree in International Management, a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management and has several Vocational Education certificates. He is completing a second Masters in Adult Education, when time permits.
James is a lifelong student of management, strategic marketing and organisational development. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Management and a Member of the Australian Marketing Institute.
