Background:
Graeme has extensive business experience in senior management roles within manufacturing companies both privately owned and publicly listed. His experience spans general management, sales and marketing including international business development and exports, product development, production, logistics, finance and IT systems. Market experience includes defence, automotive and rolling stock components, polymers, engineered products, security printing, water pumps and electronic control systems. Graeme has successfully conducted business in over 50 countries often pioneering new markets.
Graeme served as a Director of an automotive OEM parts supplier for eight years where he transitioned the business to become a significant Defence supplier in Australia and international markets which provides valuable insights for assisting SME's to establish or grow their Defence business.
Prior to joining the Defence Industry Innovation Centre, Graeme served as Business Development Manager for the Defence Science and Technology Organisation where he managed the business relationships with universities and Defence prime contractors as well as establishing industry partners to commercialise DSTO technologies.
