Background:
David has extensive management experience in the food industry with small and large internationally focussed manufacturing companies. He also has consulting, mentoring and training experience across a wide range of industry sectors. He is experienced in business development, manufacturing, operations, franchising, marketing and sales, inventory control, packaging and contract negotiation.
David has mainly worked in the private sector for various manufacturing / retail companies domestically and internationally including; George Western Foods, Qantas, International tastes, Hilton Hotel Group (UK), De Vere Leisure group (UK), and most recently was the General Manager of a very successful medium-size cheese manufacturing company. He has also owned his own small business and has been a Client Manager, with the South Australia Centre for Manufacturing.
Qualifications:
David has a Masters of Business Administration from Adelaide University and an Australian Institute of Company Directors Diploma. He is also a fellow of the Governors Leadership Foundation and a Professional Member of the Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology.
