Background:
Clare has management experience in a wide range of private sector organisations in manufacturing, ranging from fast moving consumer goods to mining resources. She has experience with companies producing mining consumables and materials handling solutions.
Her experience in these organisations includes frontline management, staff development, industrial engineering, manufacturing and business analysis, new product development, demand planning, quality management systems and process improvement. She has a strong background in Lean manufacturing and has implemented several projects involving waste reduction, quick changeovers and 5S.
Clare has also consulted to various large clients in heavy industry, ranging from paper making and packaging, to steel processing and cement making. While working with these clients, she project managed various process improvement projects involving downtime and waste reduction, supply chain management, staff development, strategic decision making, asset and maintenance optimisation, and capital expenditure optimisation. She also conducted staff training in problem solving and decision making, and project management.
Clare enjoys helping businesses to improve their performance through more efficient and effective work practices.
Qualifications:
Clare is a graduate of the University of Queensland with a degree in Manufacturing and Materials Engineering (1st Class Honours).
