Background:
Adam Morton has worked for the past 20 years in the manufacturing and manufacturing services sector, holding various management and technical roles in the pulp and paper industry both in Tasmania and Victoria. He has also spent 6 years in technical support and sales management for a global specialty chemicals company, which provided him with broad experience in water treatment and industrial hygiene chemistry, as well as working with small and medium sized manufacturing firms. Most recently, Adam has been involved in managing steam generation plants, including an energy conversion program from oil to natural gas, which led to numerous environmental and cost benefits.
Adam has lived and worked in Tasmania at various times during his career and has been living on the North-West coast for the past 6 years, having relocated from Victoria.
Adam is looking forward to working with local manufacturing businesses and the rest of the Enterprise Connect team to deliver the program initiatives to the SME manufacturing sector in Tasmania.
Qualifications:
Adam holds a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry); a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering (Honours), and is currently completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) post-graduate qualification.
