Mining Technology Innovation Centre 

The Mining Technology Innovation Centre is based in Mackay, Queensland, and operates as a central component in the overall development of mining technology in Australia.

It provides advice to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) operating within the mining, oil and gas technology and services fields to improve their business processes, test new products and find new markets.

The centre provides the core suite of services offered by the Enterprise Connect network including:

• A Business Review conducted for free by one of our Business Advisers
• The Tailored Advisory Service provides funding to implement actions identified in the Business Review
• Researchers in Business offers the placement of researchers from universities or public research agencies into businesses to help develop and implement new commercial ideas.

In addition, the Mining Technology Innovation Centre offers a range of industry specific services including:

• Up-to-date national and international market intelligence
• Technology requirements for specific markets
• Access to industry specific research
