The Creative Industries Innovation Centre is based at the UTS Campus in Sydney and it assists firms in the creative industries sector to make a larger contribution to the Australian economy.
Creative industries can be involved in activities including design, publishing, writing, architecture, visual arts, television, radio, advertising, film, performing arts, music, games, and interactive content.

Enterprise Connect engaged the Centre for International Economics (CIE) to conduct a study analysing the creative industries in Australia (.pdf, 800KB). This study aims to develop a framework for defining and measuring the creative industries and provides a statistical summary of its economic dimensions.
