The application should take about 15 minutes to complete.  The form collects your contact details and assesses whether your firm meets the eligibility criteria.  If you wish to work with a specific Business Adviser, you can also nominate them on your form.

You are also required to add your firm's ANZSIC category and number in the application form. If you are unsure of what your firm's ANZSIC number is, you can do a keyword search on the Australian Bureau of Statistics website or you can download a list of the ANZSIC categories by following this link.  

Please click here to see the Australian Bureau of Statistics Australian Standard Geographical Classifications maps defining the metropolitan areas of Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane.  If your firm is located within the white areas of these maps then you are consider to be located within the metropolitan area of that city.

Please click here to see the following table contains all list of suburbs in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth that are classed as metropolitan.  This list is sourced from the Australian Bureau of Statistics Australian Standard Geographical Classifications.  If your suburb does not appear on this list then you are located in a regional area.

Your application will be assessed by the Manufacturing Centre in your state.  One of our staff will contact you within one to two working days to notify you of the outcome of your application.

  • download the form from the link above
  • complete the form on your computer and save a copy for your files
  • email your completed form to your state office by clicking on the link below. If you are unsure which state to email your application to, you can email it to enterpriseconnect@innovation.gov.au
